Do you dream of leading certified divers underwater, or do you want to take the first step towards becoming a scuba instructor? Maybe you just want to improve your diving skills. Whatever your reason, becoming an SSI Dive Guide is an exciting adventure. At the end of this journey you can decide to stay a recreational Dive Guide or become a Professional Dive Guide.
The SSI Dive Guide program trains you to be a well-prepared, versatile and marketable dive professional, and is, if you choose, the first step on the path to becoming an SSI Open Water Instructor. This program is intended to be a fun and challenging learning experience. It presents ideal-case scenarios designed to train you to make intelligent, informed decisions. You are expected to ask questions and to take an active role in the training process. Your basic dive skills and knowledge will be refined and tested as you develop into a capable and professional dive leader.
We will provide you wherever possible with opportunities to observe and work with us in addition to the training program. Using a mixture of teaching, mentoring and experience building we want to help you to achieve your goals, and prepare you to take your place in the industry.
